Decadent Chocolate Ganache
Hold on to your chocolate-loving hearts because our Decadent Chocolate Ganache will completely blow you away! This easy 2-ingredient, rich and creamy, chocolaty topping is perfect for drizzling over many desserts and great for dipping cookies or fresh or dried fruits!

12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips 8 oz heavy cream
Place chocolate chips in a medium bowl.
In a saucepan over medium heat bring the heavy cream to a low boil.
Pour the hot cream over the chocolate chips and allow to set 2-3 minutes.
Starting in the middle, slowly whisk the chocolate and cream together. Continue to whisk until it's smooth and creamy.
Drizzle over cakes, cream pies, cupcakes, muffins, sweet bread, bars, or cheesecakes. It's also great for dipping cookies or fresh or dried fruits.
For chocolate frosting: After the ganache is cooled, whisk again until it is rich and thick, which is perfect for frosting or decorating cakes and cupcakes.
Take the cream off the heat as soon as it comes to a low boil, being careful not to burn it.
