Today’s tips on How & Why to Create Sub Pages will explain the importance of sub pages for your new Google site. If you missed yesterday’s post on an “Easy Way to Make Your Recipes Printable“, go ahead and check it out. I was telling my Mom that I’m making my recipes printable on my blog and she said “Good because I just hand wrote your recipe for “Crock Pot Roast Beef“, which we had with my parents the other day. It was really delicious and now that recipe is printable too!
Hopefully, you have your new Google Site up and running. Now it’s time to make your site a little more organized and user-friendly by creating Sub Pages and some other Cool Features I learned while setting mine up. You might ask, “Why do you want to create Sub Pages?” Because Sub Pages will help your readers find recipes in a snap!
Log into Google Sites and click on the name of your site, it will take you to your Home Page. Click the New Page button that looks like a piece of paper with a + on it, in the upper right-hand corner, it will take you to the page above. Put in the name of your new page and click Create. As mentioned, I’m creating a Page called “Cupcakes” and my cupcake recipes will be the Sub Pages.
It should look something like this! I put a little “Print” info under the picture on each recipe before saving.
